Executive Summary
Mr. Weisheipl is a Director with BDO Capital Advisors, LLC. He has more than 15 years of experience in commercial banking, leveraged lending, analytics, structured finance, and international trade, including six years of ESOP specific work at both Bankers Trust and BDO/BDO Capital. At BDO Capital, Mr. Weisheipl leads the business development and transaction execution efforts in the Central and Northeast Regions.
Mr. Weisheipl joined BDO after helping to grow the ESOP lending practice at Bankers Trust, a regional bank out of Des Moines, Iowa. He was responsible for both business development and the execution of financing for newly formed leveraged ESOPs. Mr. Weisheipl also worked with existing ESOPs to assist with their financing needs including acquisition financing, working capital financing and seller note refinancing.
Prior to Bankers Trust, Mr. Weisheipl spent eight years with Bank of America and US Bank in their CLO and CDO analytics groups. He eventually led a group of analysts and senior analysts responsible for all reporting and data integrity on more than 50 Collateralized Loan Obligations and Special Purpose Vehicles. In addition, Mr. Weisheipl was responsible for the onboarding and coding of all new deals.
Mr. Weisheipl started his career with the AP Moller Maersk group where he completed the Maersk International Shipping Education, Maersk’s international management program.
